Law enforcement have published shocking footage showing a motorist executing dangerous skidding techniques on a roundabout during an illegal car meet, putting spectators at grave danger of harm.
Judicial Ruling for Dangerous Motorist
A 23-year-old from Southampton was given a 27-week prison sentence, deferred for 12 months, after admitting to reckless operation of a vehicle.
In addition, the court imposed a 12-month driving ban and mandated community service along with a behavioral course.
Details of the Incident
According to police officials, the video was filmed at an unauthorized automobile gathering in the city on December 28th, 2024, showing the driver driving a pink BMW.
“This footage demonstrates the alarming moment when a dangerous driver skidded around a traffic circle at an illegal vehicle event, while spectators watched despite the danger of serious injury.”
Wider Enforcement on Unauthorized Car Meets
Officials stated that more than 200 offences related to unauthorized vehicle events in the area have been handled in approximately 12 months.

- Four individuals banned from operating vehicles
- Seventy-six fixed-penalty notices given
- 54 prosecutions taken to trial
Official Statement
An officer remarked: “Local people, drivers and our roads policing teams have had their fill with these groups of drivers selfishly occupying public roads and parking areas and we refuse to accept it.”
The officer continued: “They are not only a total disturbance, but they also place themselves and innocent bystanders at danger of serious injury.”
He finished: “We will continue to take legal action against these drivers and I hope these latest incidents act as a caution: you won’t get away with it.”
